Alexa Selph is BPR’s consultant for substantive editing, general copyediting, and indexing. She qualifies and supervises those who work at home to provide editing, copyediting, proofreading, and indexing. In addition to her supervisory role, she also accepts each year several manuscripts for editing and indexing.

Alexa Selph holds an M.A. in English. Her recent clients include the Yale University Press, the Johns Hopkins University Press, the University of Tennessee Press, and John Wiley & Sons, among others. In her 25-year career, she has addressed a wide variety of subjects including biography/memoir, business, local histories, political science, social science, and cookbooks.
